Use Bodywise calculators in your AI assistant
Bodywise runs a free MCP server. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants such as Claude or Cursor use outside tools. Once connected, your assistant can run the same calculators as this website instead of guessing the maths, and it cites the Bodywise page each answer came from.
Connection details
- Server address
- https://bodywise.io/api/mcp
- Registry name
- io.bodywise/mcp
- Access
- Free and open. No account, key or password needed.
How to connect
- Open your assistant's settings for connectors, integrations or MCP servers.
- Add a new remote server and paste the server address above.
- Leave any sign-in or key fields blank, then save.
If your app uses a settings file instead, add this:
{
"mcpServers": {
"bodywise": {
"url": "https://bodywise.io/api/mcp"
}
}
}Everyday ChatGPT and Claude web search can already read the public Bodywise guides without any setup. Connecting the server is only needed if you want the assistant to run the calculators directly.

Privacy
The server only reaches public calculators, public pages and reference data. It never touches Bodywise Coach accounts or anyone's personal records, and nothing you send to it is stored.
